L'opera
The Nuragic people were great builders, blacksmiths, craftsmen, warriors and sailors. They loved the arts and good food. Many of their works, over 10,000 of them, are still to be seen around the Island: nuraghes, villages, sacred wells, tombs and temples. Many museums are full of their artefacts: pottery, arms, bronze statuettes, everyday tools. This book explains the Nuragic Civilisation in a simple and pleasant way: – When and how were the nuraghes built? – What gods and religion did the people worship? – What did they eat? – What was their language like?
